Pensées sous les nuages
Jérémy Bajulaz — Ormond Editions
On the occasion of Geneva Art Week, Ormond Editions is pleased to present Pensées sous les nuages, a solo exhibition by Jérémy Bajulaz, curated by Marie Diologent.
Through a sensitive engagement with landscape and still life, the exhibition unfolds—in homage to Philippe Jaccottet—as an attentiveness to the nuances of the visible, to the fragility of appearances, and to this way of inhabiting the world through contemplation.
Jérémy Bajulaz’s works explore the delicacy of motifs, the sensuality of fruit, the skin of an orange, or of a lemon, as so many modest presences that open onto an experience of looking marked by restraint and precision. Landscape becomes an interior space, a site of resonance where silence, light, and memory meet.
In dialogue with the collections on view at Ormond Editions, the exhibition explores the interplay between the inhabited space and the outside, between object and painting, between the intimacy of a motif and the breadth of landscape. Pensées sous les nuages composes a universe in which the simplicity of forms reveals a singular vision.
